Borrego Springs is located on the edge of the Sonoran desert two hours north east of San Diego, California. It has been described as what Palm Springs, California, was 50 years ago. Borrego Springs is the only town in the United States that is completely surrounded by a state park (Anza-Borrego Desert State Park)! How do I describe it? Borrego Springs is a cool and quirky corner of California that is lesser known by all and mostly known to those desert enthusiasts who know their stuff.
